Default Painted headlight mod observation.

I seen another thread about sanding and polishing headlights and it reminded me about mine. After I did the painted headlight mod I knoticed after baking that I had hairline cracks and alot more of a fog look. Has anyone else knoticed this? Is this on the outside or in?

Mine did not do any of that. They are perfectly clear.

I would guess you didn't scuff them enough and the paint wasnt gripping, or you used cheap paint

The paint behind the lens makes the hairline cracks and haziness more noticeable.

Cool maybe they were like that before and I never knoticed. Maybe a good sanding and polishing would work.

Yep totally agree with that. Mine were pretty messed up and after i painted the inside it was more noticeable. I even tried sanding and clearcoating them and they look better but nothing like a new set. Thats why i just orderd some new halo's. Have't decided if im going to just keep the halos or just swap the lens on them.
