Custom Gauges - replace cluster, keep odometer readout?
Custom Gauges - replace cluster, keep odometer readout? I'm looking into buying a custom cluster but had a few questions. I really want to keep my odometer accurate and displayed in the cluster...is it possible to remove the cluster, but keep the red window with the digital readout and mount that in the new cluster face? Is there any other way to keep your odometer reading in the dash? I'm looking at the Autometer gauges, but they don't say anything about odometers, only a trip meter.
Also, how hard is the install? What's the difference between installing mechanical or electrical gauges?
