Fix Buffer Marks?
How can I fix this? My boss has a Porter Cable 7424 and he said I could come by tonight and try fixing it with that....will that work? What should we put on the pad...I have some 3M Swirl Remover...will that work? Help!
If you have fine clearcoat scratches from washing and such,
use an "orbital"
what ever you do, always use a foam pad to apply wax, swirl reduce,polish...ect.
and use terry cloth to remove...thats if you buff, orbital, hand or how ever you do it.
and befor you wax /polish your car its best to use a clay bar to remove oxidation, or grime. that way you have a cleaner surface to work with and wax will last longer.
to remove wax, wash it with dawn dish soap that will be sure to strip it.
and remember if you want your wax to last, use a non detergent auto soap, not the **** at the car wash it will strip it like dish soap.
A PC with the right pads and polishes will remove holograms. Start out with a polishing pad and light-medium polish and work up as necessary.
