Tropicare vs Zaino
Heres what i have planned for the weekend, I am going to wash then clay my sisters hood on her 99 green ford taurus. This car hasnt been washed since shes owned the car that I know of . I will tape off the center of the hood, then apply TC-3 on one side , and zaino Z2 on other with OUT using zfx (dried up) or Z1 polish lok(dont have it). I will post pics through the weeks
NOTE: this is not a bashing thread to either company, just a silly experiment that has grabbed my interest.
But, if you aren't using the ZFX or the Z1, you're really putting the Zaino at a disadvantage. In fact, any Zaino-phite will probably say it invalidates the comparison.
During application the tropicare absorbed more into the applicator than the zaino , but they both applied easily and smelled good. Let them dry for half hour and buffed off, they both came off easily too bout the same using microfiber.
After looking at both halfs of the hood the zaino side was definately darker looking , infact where i had taped the hood off you could easily see the line between both products. I was suprised how much of a difference they looked , the slickness felt the same.
Keep in mind this is a no Bullshit thread as i am not favoring either product because i am going to continue to use which ever i have better success with. I read alot on this forum and cant beleive the bullshit i read with biased opinions or brand loyalism.
Like I mentioned before, pay close attention to how each is beading right now (size and height) and monitor how those characteristics diminish over time. Also monitor slickness and appearance through each wash.
