Are you selling them for $40 plus $4 shipping or is this an auction?

They are still in business, I ordered them and they were shipped out via USPS today.

I'll take pictures when I get them, and I'd recomend waiting, I picked up the smooth locks... DEFINATELY not worth 20 dollars.

My bad I was in a hurry. make sure you get lots of pics. Especially with just the DRLs on and then with the fogs and parking lights on, at night.

I'll be posting up a review sometime soon, I might have to wait until tomorrow night as I've been up for about 36 hours so I'm beat.

I'll give a quick overview of how I feel about them:

Pros: Look nice, Fitment is nice and tight so no worries about them falling out, shipping was quick ( about 3 days ) come covered so they won't have a chance of getting scratched during shipping, color instructions.

Cons: Not as dark as I was thinking they would be, rough around the edges, while this may be done for fitment I think for fourty dollars the edges could atleast get a quick sanding. Price, fourty dollars is alot for what you get, it's not very thick it's rough around the edges ( looks like it was cut and tossed into the bag ).

Overall I think it's a nice product, but leaves me lacking something for fourty bucks... It looks cool and I'm sure I'll like it more once I've had some sleep ( I don't like much when I am tired )...

Here are a few pictures..
Fogs and DRLs on after install ( night time without flash )

Sitting in the Garage ( night time WITH flash )

Something wicked this way comes.... ( daytime without flash sun setting )
Personally my favorite of all of the pictures...

Sunlight comparison one side on, other side off ( Daytime without flash )

It was a cheap cosmetic mod and once I get the chrome front bird again I'll probably enjoy it much more

Quick review -
Sence I did this review I'm going to toss in another QUICK review for SMOOTHLOCKS.
Pros: Looks nice, if your car is black it's even better as it will match your paint already! Quick shipping ( about 2 days ).

Cons: IMO Not worth 20 dollars, 10-15 would be a much better deal. The little trunk one didn't want to stay stuck on and was a PITA to get into that little hole, but once you get it in just hold it down for a few seconds and she SHOULD stick. Not sure how well these will stand up when car washes happen and such, but we'll see!

Door lock ( yes I know my car is dirty, it's been raining here constantly and I haven't had time to wash it )

Trunk lock

If you'd like more pictures of anything or have any questions, feel free to email me If you are a vendor and want me to review your product PM me

Oh and I used a coat of NTX Wax on each side of each piece for the blackout kit, made it nice and smooth, I can't wait to try it on my car this weekend!

Oh and there is a SLIGHT difference with the light output of the foglights so don't get these if your all about having the most light possible. I am still wondering if these will stand up couple hour drives at nighttime without any fading or plastic melting from the heat of the foglamps. Time will tell!

Nope, so this is something I can recomend to others The more I look at it the more it grows on me... I'm just tired and really in a bad mood after finding out the repair bill for my winter beater was 359.53 for a starter replacement and a tow.... there goes the money for my headers *sigh*

Great review. I'm liking what I see in the pics. I think I'll be ordering some myself. I don't mind them being rough around the edges as long as they look as good on my car as they do on yours. I would much rather pay $44 for some that aren't the best, than $80 to order pretty much the same thing from lmperformance.

I just noticed this thread and I have the same blackouts you have on my black ta. Overall I am happy with them....but....yes i said but.....after a month of having them they started to warp. (caused from the heat off the fog lights) No its didnt fall out, i took them off when getting the car ready for a show

How i fixed that was by sitting a heavy book on top of one and heating it up with a hair dryer and doing the same for the other.

How long did that fix it for?

The only way I could see them being made NOT to warp would be if they were made with smoked glass, and those could be fragile and expensive...

It's worth it, just buy em

Just so you guys know, on sunday one of my DRL blackouts fell out. Three days and one is missing... I contacted the seller and he was kind enough to send me a new one but man, I thought it fit pretty well... time to get something to help it stick.

Foglights it doesn't matter and the DRL's still shine through perfectly
