Default Fog light experiment- PART TWO!

well..i ran both fogs today with the H3's, each for 20-30 minutes straight in the garage with NO fan on them...

I'll say this....no smoke...beautiful WHITE light, not yellow, ultimately NO problems....
BUT
the housings were HOT AS HELL
i mean i trickled some h20on em and it popped and boiled off the housing...SOOOO
while this setup works, and ultimately gave me the look i wanted ( a nicer WHITER fog, i chose to scrap it and look for a different housing that can handle this type of Bulb so i dont have to worry about anything happening on long road trips at night

It works, but use at your own risk!!!!
Thanks guys lata

Did the stock wiring get hot/overheat? The reason I ask is I just bought the Blazertech lights to replace on my T/A, and I was wondering if the stock wiring was suffient. The wires that come with the light kit are 16 gauge, I figure I should be good but just wanted to be sure. Thanks.
