^^ Sick dude, thx for the tips i appreciate, i will have to do this this weekend! by the way the first sanding you did to take off the clear coat with 600 grit was that wet sanding or just regular sanding?

my tailpanel was professionally painted when i got the car repainted so the paint will never fade like some of the guys who spray paint theirs...i think we are all forgetting a couple of things here....i have my tail panel blacked out flat black, and the trunk lock removed and shaved...yes the flat black tail panel is a berger trademark but it also came as an option ever since 1967 on all camaro ss...i know because my 72 camaro ss had a flat black tail panel as well as other original ss camaros i have seen online...do a search on any 72 and previous camaros and u will see that their tail panels came out flat black as one of their ss trademarks...just my .02 
Where are you guys getting the extra rear panel to paint like the Berger? Are you going to the dealer, or just hitting the salvage yards? How much are you all usually paying for a used piece?
i totaled a B4C and we bought if back from the insurance company, i just got the pannel off of it becuase i wanted to be able to put the white one back on as i saw fit. id say call a junk yard, tell them you want a rear pannel piece for a 93 V6 Camaro (might help knock down the price a little) they are the same from 93-02 so there are litteraly millions of these pannels out there

Meissen, I recently saw a pic of your car without the stinger hood on it and even though the stinger really sets it apart from other Camaros, I must say I thought it looked much better without it. Just my unsolicited opinion.

It's ok, though. I bought the hood 60% because I liked the hood and I like the throwback to the Stinger Corvette style, but a good 25% of the reason I bought the hood is because it's different, not commonly seen, and because I knew I wouldn't have to worry about it being that popular.
