Blue on Black..
Blue on Black.. Hey guys. I have a 2001 Camaro SS. It is black with the red Manta stripe on the ss hood and the rear deck and spoiler.
I have red brake calipers and red suspension parts.
Here is my dilema. I am tired of black/red camaro's. Dime a dozen. Any black SS is red themed.
I was thinking of a electron blue accent on the manta stripe on hood and rear deck lid and spoiler as well as powder coat the calipers electron blue and maybe slowly powder coat my suspension pieces the same color.
I would like to accent the interior as well. Maybe those lights people do which are blue.
What do you think? Can anyone photoshop a black ss with the electron blue manta stripe? I am not good with it.
I have the car lowered with DMS springs and have 17x9.5 inch Chrome ZO6 rims up front with nitto 555's and 18x10.5 Chrome ZO6's out back with BFG KDW2 295x35x18's.
Cam'ed with Futral Motorsports Fm13. Mac Midlength's, Mac Y pipe.. GMMG Catback.. Cartek New design clutch and supposedly cartek built t56 (unsure as of yet since my trans in third gear is messed up).
Anyways.. power department is handled.. now I need looks. I want this to stand out like no other.
Any other colors can you suggest? I tried yellow.. NO.
I even considered a hunter green but I am unsure how that would work.
I am not against a different stripe design other than the manta. I am not sold on the 35th stripes.. but the dick harrell stripe is SICK. And I am DEFINATELY considering that option if it is ever made.

i, personally, think electric blue would be really hot! just do it and see if you like it... at least you'll know you're being original...
