Engine Cleaning
Engine Cleaning Sup fellas,
Was just curious if anyone had any tips on cleaning the engine in an F-body. I want to try a degreaser and pressure wash but I'm hesitant to damage any electrical (or other) components.
Is there a guide to doing this? I've scoured Google and the search on this forum came up with some strange results.

I did mine. Just cover the important stuff for example:
PC
MAF
Battery
and some people say distributor. I didn't. I just was careful of it and didn't spray it with the foam or water. Just put the foam on a toothbrush and washed off with clean rag.
OH BTW
DON'T SPRAY IT UNDER THE HOOD ON THE HOOD. Found out it will take the paint right off

Our LS1's dont have a distributor! Coil near plug baby!

i would spray degreaser on it worked real good then i woud spray it with a tire shine called no touch. i didnt cover anything and had no problems untill last week after 1 yr my spark plug wires went bad due to moisture
