Wow I didn't even know that they stopped. Lucky I got my LS1 **** before that happened.

I didn't know until now that they went under, if you look at www.ThunderRacing.com web page they still have all their stuff listed but limited stock. Try calling them to see if they have whatever you need in stock.

Peace,
Craig.

As Posted On ThunderRacing.com:
After many years of quality service and products, MBA has decided to close their doors. Since Thunder Racing has always been MBA's leading distributor we have been able to acquire their remaining inventory. We will be listing the remaining items as they become available. All of the MBA items listed will be available in limited quantities and colors. Special orders will not be available.
Looks like they will get most of the remaining stock.

Peace,
Craig.

Try http://www.billetballs.com/
I never liked the hot and cold feel of those metal ***** anyway.

If you want a polymer **** with custom engraving try:
http://www.epcomfg.com/shiftknobs.html
or
http://www.flameball.com/
or
http://www.fatknobs.com/
or
a modded Pool ball like me

There's a lot of choices out there. If Billet ***** can't make what you want (like a big enough diameter) I might know of some other places that can custom make what you want.

I just ordered an MBA black phoenix shift **** from thunder racing. That's probably the only place you can get one, and their supply is limited.

Doesn't anyone make a shifter that is a minature version of that "purple lightning" ball that you always see in Spencer's Gifts or other similar shops? You know, the one that is about the size of soccer ball and when you touch it, the lightning goes to your fingertips? Anyone? Bueller? Bueller?

The MBA are for manual only. They are billet chunks of metal, basically. For an automatic tranny you need a way to activate the lockout. Usually it is either a button or some are designed to look like a manual ****, but you push down on then to unlock it. I can't remember who made those, maybe MBA?

Billetballs.com has some of the most expensive, but can be custom engraved and so forth.

For economy, try Flame Ball:
http://www.flameball.com/Products/Automatics.htm
They can convert most of their ***** to work with an automatic.

This company mentioned they have an adapter to fit automatics.
http://www.conceptualpolymer.com/prod01.htm

Custom ***** for auto's are slim pickings. Another alternative is to get a auto handle from a different factory car. I don't know what fits, but maybe the vette handle (or another model) is better?

You have to get an adaptor if you want to use a **** for an auto. MBA had the adaptors, now I'm guessing Thunder has it now since they have MBA's inventory. With the adaptor in place, you screw the **** onto it and then push down on the **** to move the shifter.

If you scroll up to the second post, I have the version with the tail as well.
