Need Help with Foggy Headlight Mod
Need Help with Foggy Headlight Mod Alright guys i already read the sticky up top. So here my question, after i sand the headlights down and im ready to polish them, do i HAVE to use the Polishing kit that it says, or am i better off using something else? I would rather just be able to go into a parts store and buy whatever i need instead of ordering it, so thats my question, and also is it better to do the polishing by hand or with a buffer? what gives better results. Also, do u do just the outside of the headlight or can u do the inside and outside?

i just did this, and i was feelin the same way u were. soooo i had 3m polishing stuff layin around for when i painted my hood, its made to take out 1500grit straches etc, that worked ok, then i bought some blue magic plastic polisher. that worked well too. my headlights look a lot better, but still could use some more attention. take ur time sanding spend a good amount of time with each gritt, then hit up the polish. i worked on mine for prolly 10hrs total, but i also painted them. and took breaks here is mine
