Questionable Formula?
I was in the kroger parking lot near where i live and couldnt tell exactly what kind of car it was. it has:
1.LT1 taillights
2.Formula badges and firebird emblem on back
3.aftermarket WS6 hood
4.WS6 badges on back
5.Front end doesnt line up right so maybe a ls1 front end on a lt1 bird?
Sorry for the crappy quality pics it was my camera phone

maybe the car was wrecked and rebuilt? i've seen a 2002 Trans Am that had cloth, no t-tops and 16" Camaro wheels on it that was rebuilt..
other than that... i'd just say they have really bad taste on a tight budget.

LT1 cars didnt come in that color did they?
looks like someone had a Firebird and liked the LT1 tail lights better so put them on, and then either saving up for wheels or something and then got a hood to put on it LT1 to LS1 front end changes would be very rare to see..

That is Joe's 16yr old younger brother's first car. I think he posts on here every once in a blue moon.
It is 98 model maple red formula, it was bought as a roller. Car has had TONS of hail damage done to it. It had a new motor put into it with a TH350, it's now getting a 6-speed swapped back into it like it was from the factory. The WS6 hood on it is the old one off my car, I sold it to him.
I believe the previous owner had put the LT1 style taillights on it, the interior of the car is real clean and the car is going into the body shop here in the next few weeks, so they haven't been worried about getting all the front body panels lined up perfect.
It will soon be a very clean 98 Formula M6 bolton/cam car with a dire need for new wheels... but I'm sure as soon as soon as he's got the cash he'll have a different set on there.
Also, LS1 Formulas come with the Firebird writing and logo on the center tail section peice

I actually like the old up level taii lamps better than the current honeycombs. I had a 93' that I put honeycombs on... only reason was a full set was alot cheaper than 1 replacement Formula lamp.
Hell, it's getting so rare to see an old one like that, sooner or later they'll be cool again.
The snowflake rims are a pretty big sin though. That should be corrected. Though I guess they are probably the cheapest OEM chromes out there. To each his own.
