I have spent more money on appearance than most people with f-bodies have (body kit, hood, wheels, underhood mods, interior). Now that i look back, i probably spent around 3k in appearance. Would i do it all over again?.....Absolutely .

I DONT KNOW how much in appearance in itself.. but I have spent a total of 18 thousand on my car (doesnt mean I have 18 grand IN the car right now. I changed alot of different things like Nitrous and cam and stuff but I have spent 18 grand on the car).

From things like vinyl kits, rims, tires, drag racing tires, drag racing rims, nitrous, cam/springs/retainers ect ect, headers, y pipe, high flow cats, gmmg, sub frame connectors, panhard rod, torque arm, cold air induction, 6 speed conversion, dyno tuning (2x) ect ect.

I have sold things too like drag racing rims and tires so I get money back sometimes.

But 18 grand total was SPENT on the car.

Maybe you should have took that money and bought a v8, but hey thats just my opinion. I got around 1500 in appearance mods on my T/A but i would never have bought the stuff if the price wasn't right. i got Z06 rims for $400, i couldn't pass that up.

Hey, it's cool if you have no taste for having a car that looks different. I can imagine your car probably blends in with all the other Camaros out there, either bone stock, or "appearance mods" consisting of an SS hood and different rims. To each their own, I wanted my car to be one of a kind, not a clone.

Easily over $3000 probably more like $4000. I don't really keep track, just buy what I like. And if I can't buy it, I make it!!

Not sure how much was invested as i bought the car like this but it has quite a bit done....

18" Privat Fahren's
Eibach 2" drop
All red Overlays
Tinted windows
WS6 hood
carbon fiber insert pieces on interior
White face gauges
Tinted 3rd brake light
tinted side markers

I would guess maybe the original owner dropped $3k-$4k. Not sure on price for rims, over a grand i bet, ws6 hood was $1000 ish, springs, and all other stuff prolly up in the few hundreds. Least i didnt have to drop the money into it. hea hea

Damn we have an expensive hobby, but I love it. Some of you have spent a WHOLE lot a money, more power to ya.
Mecham tips- $185
Repaired and painted rear valence- $350 (Looks amazing)
DMS springs installed- $350
Vette FRC- $10
Blackbird style rear filler panal- Free, did it myself.
= $985 (not including one expensive GMMG exhuast system)

Ive had it since April, and am very surprised that I even spent this much on it. I think I am done with appearance mods for now. Now on to that bad *** LS1, woo hoo.
