I have Chrome overlays on my silver car and they look good. Chrome might look good on black.

i would just do silver metallic, reflective silver metallic is too flashy, you wanna pass cars and have people say,"woah, what the hell kinda car was that?!?!!" and you don't wanna have it flashed back, "TRANS AM", . . reflective vinyl is cool though, . . but its cooler to be mysterious . . . . . .

I'd say go red. I have a black Ram Air, and have red reflective overlays front to rear. Show up real nice when lights hit them, though I hardly drive in the dark. I think red really sets of a deep, glossy black better then anything else. Silver seems too common. I wouldn't go too far, IMO, and start adding more stripes and such. I like the overlays to just compliment and set off the original paint. Not to mention you can't even read the black-on-black Trans Am emblems. Great sites for all kinds of decals and doo-dads are: Afterthoughtsauto.com, and WS6Store.com. eBay is always good for finding hard to get items. I've probably spent $500 on those 2 sites alone.

Depends on what you want, All blacked out has been done and looks real good. Black with some chrome accents have been done and is one of my favorites, like TA4U2NV's car. Black with red is alos nice. I think the key is moderation and not TOO much. I have as much color on my car that I will ever have on it, and I like it as is. Anymore and I would not like it. So good luck!

I say chrome would look good, with your newly polished wheels.

I say get rid of the Trans-Am letters all together and the side moldings.

Then have the front Bird PAINTED in a TRUE FIRE flame.

That would kick ***!

Yea, i was thinking about just shaving all the moldings and taking all my overlays out for an all black theme.... but i dont think my car is fast enough for that tough of a look, haha. I am growing on my red, only thing is... i think it doesnt match up well with my rims..... maybe. I might experiment with a few different colors this winter. Maybe ill try something different that no one has done. I do really like my red though. True fire might be nice but not my style. I am going for a really slick look, but like the little spice the overlays give. Any suggestions of change in overlay color/wheels, anything? Thanks!
