hi all
I have been looking on this site and I have been thinking about doing a complete new exhaust system for it and I got to thinking and looking at my 78. I have always loved the way the exhaust tips looked on the later second gen bird the ones that had the dual tip and were pointed down at the ground. Well I am thinking about having custom tips like that made for the exhaust. Has anyone in here done that and if so could you give me an pic or tell me if it worked well or if it didn't. Any thought or suggestions are welcome.

i've seen a LS1 Formula with 2nd gen tips like you said... and it looks about as white trash as you'd expect.

While it might not be the answer you were looking for, you can find regular stock looking angled down exhaust tips at most automotive stores, heck I think even Walmart carries tips. I don't think I've ever seen high-end tips that angle down.

i had a 79 TA and it looked badass on it...but it would look horrendous on a 4th gen IMO
