Default Poser?

I've been thinking lately about what people say about the ws6 and ss badges on cars that didnt come that way from the dealer, i mean say i decide to say my ta is a ST3 Trans Am or something like that, i get badges made, do specifics that i feel the 'ST3' package should contain, whether that be lid, catback, tune, or something like that, talked to the powers that be for the title and had 'SX3' added to the title, does that still not make it an 'ST3 Trans Am'? I mean everything is there, it just got done later than slp who gets the z28's and ta's from the factory modify to a ss or firehawk, SLP is merely a company that modifies a vehical and sticks there badge on it, they are not the manufacturer, and if you disagree that my TA is now a 'ST3' would your opinion be changed if i owned a company called 'ST3 Performance' or something like that and modified it under the company name, what do you guys think?

Go for it, as long as it has the power to back up the badge it'll only mater to ****-retentive jackasses who spend their lives memorizing vin codes. A posser is a guy with an 03 V6 stang who made it look like a Cobra and then got his *** handed to him by an Integra (saw it happen last weekend lol).

as long as you own it, do what you want

now id hate to be the guy who sees an SS for sale and buys it, only to find out its a V6 with SS body parts, i actually did see a V6 with SS hood/spoiler/rims/badges at a car show ( i always check the car out before buying it, just for example)

personally im not going to debadge/use other badges on my car because i dont claim it as somthing else

About a month ago I just raped this camaro ss on the street, or thats what I thought it was. it turned out to be a V6 with badges, hood scoop, wheels. I hate this because it gives the ls1 a bad name. now if you have a v8 and make all of the changes to the car to make it look like a ws6 or ss then I don't see a problem, but it is still not a true ss or ws6, and as long as those people don't try to sell their car as a true ss or ws6.

some SS's only have one tail pipe, i believe it to be on the driver side, now if the pipe was a turn-down then its a V6
