they are great looking but i cant see myself spending 300 bucks on taillights (which may be better looking but are still similar) specially since hitting that "poor college kid" status
I also put 98-02 Firebird amber front markers on the rear bumper in place of the red ones to match with the ambers of the exports. They don't look that amber in the pictures though.
those look badass i had brand new exports on my car for a week and someone smashed the passenger side. i put the drivers side one up for sale in the parts section if anyones interested.
Yes, only the lower part of the red actually lights up. The upper part is a reflector. I need to get some night shots of my car with the lights on. All you see from behind with the running lights is a small rectangle. It looks pretty mean and you wouldn't know it was a Camaro until you get up close to see the rest of the car. The actual export cars had a special bumper with red running lights in it. It's ugly as hell though.

those amber sides look good man, nice touch...... yeah throw up some pics i've been wanting to see a set at night ...help me decide better
I dont know what it is about the Export Tails, but IMO i like the stockers better. I think it is mostly due to the fact that there is so much orange in them. Not to say that the exports are ugly, but spending 300 bucks on them to me is something that i wouldnt even consider. It does also make a difference on the color of the car. For me red paint and orange kind of clash so i'll stick with the stockers
