Best car cover for winter Im looking for a good car cover that will withstand the winter in chicago. whats the best one? i want one that will repel all snow and moisture. where can i find a good one? what kind.

yeah... the goodones are going to cost 200 or so
I have covercraft weathershield and its lightweight and works well. Just do a search on covercrafts website and pick... its more a matter of what you want to spend rather than which one is the best.
I've had the Noah in the past and it works well to.

If you want one to protect against the elements then you are going to have to pay a bit for it. I have a Cover King Stormshield and it kept my car clean through Hurricane Katrina. I had my car in a carport rather than a garage so it was open to the elements in the front and driverside. But the cover took the brunt of the storm and kept my car clean and spotless. My cover was $290 with bag and lock

thanks. yeah i really want one that can repel all moisture (snow also when it melts and rain etc) so i need like a nylon type cover or such right..the 3 layer ones seem to soak up moisture like a sponge and never dry

remember my car will prolly be wet while i put the cover on so i want one that will not retain ANY WATER or soak it up..n will prolly have 2 feet of snow on it daily

I have on & it fits quite nice.
It's actually made out of teh same material as the cover in the 2nd link.
It fits quite snug to prevent flapping around when it's windy which could cause paint scratches if dirt gets trapped under it.
The GM one, well it's actually a GM licensed embroidered cover, & it looks, well like a large tent.
