halo ?

do they have to have that ring lit up around the center light? i like the look of the 3 lights but not that thing. also anyone have any night shots of them on?

There is no center light. The ring is the halo/center "light". Not really visible at night with the headlights on.

Like Hoss ghoul said, they are not really visible at night. and if you hook them up to you fog lights then they wont even come on unless you trun the fogs on.

I hooked mine to the fogs. You can really only see the halos at dusk or dawn w/o the headlights on. Looks good for the short time they're visible.

I wired mine to thier own switch. Only way to go imo.

thats exactly what i dont like about them, that halp thing lighting up. but they doo look really good in the day. can the halo just not be hooked up?

Yes. There are two wires coming off the halo(red and white) that must be wired into a power source and ground for them to function.
