I had 15% all around ,never a prob with my local LEO's , recently my inspector let me down... 3 years of inspecting with him..never a word till recently...He failed my ***, I had to pull the film off the sides.

15% here and its fine. The only thing I don't like is using the side mirrors while backing up at night so I just put the windows down.

I worked at a body shop & me and a buddy did it there. Materials cost $12 & it took maybe an hour and a half to do from start to finish. All I did was tape off the area, jack the back of the car up (NO need to remove the bumper), take some red scotch-brite, scratch up the area really good, then we painted it. The color came from a GM color guide and i cant remember which car it originally came on, but it is a factory color for a bumper. Its a semi-gloss. I think a true gloss black would look BAD. Hit up your local trustworthy body shop and they should be able to fix you right up.

hey guys could i get a comparison from 15% to 5% all around? how much harder is it to see out of? what would you rather have on a black camaro, 5% or 20%?

I dont think 15% is dark enough, I like not being able to see in to the car, on the other hand %5 is really hard to see out of at night all around. On a black car deff. 5% though

You will have a problem seeing out of 5% tint at night. I have 5% on the rear hatch and cant see anything unless there is some sort of light. I have 15% on the sides and I can see out of them better. Although 15% on the sides isn't as badass as 5%, I think it does look dark enough and I don't think you'll be kicking yourself for not getting 5%. Thats just my opinion. Sorry no pics either.
