One popular extinguisher material is pure carbon dioxide. In a carbon dioxide extinguisher, the carbon dioxide is kept in pressurized liquid form in the cylinder. When the container is opened, the carbon dioxide expands to form a gas in the atmosphere. Carbon dioxide gas is heavier than oxygen, so it displaces the oxygen surrounding the burning fuel. This sort of fire extinguisher is common in restaurants because it won't contaminate the cooking equipment or food.
It doesnt put the fire out because its just cold... pressurized jet fuel will be cold if the presure drops... pay more atention in science, and please stop the whole NO2/CO2 thing... if we can get back on track i promiss not to kill myself tonight, deal?

NOS does not mean nitrous. It stands for "Nitrous Oxide Systems". Just say nitrous, N2O, anything but "nos" to refer to nitrous oxide. If I ever see the guy who created "Fast & Furious" I'm going to kick him right in the ***** and uppercut his *** for spawning the demise of mankind
Now back to the original purpose of this thread.
