Green on Black....

has anyone done green overlay decals on a black firebird / trans am? My GF said she thought it would look good, I personally can't imagine it looking good at all.

Just wondering if anyone has done it, I would like to see it

Depends on the green, but if yellow looks good, I'm certain the right shade of green would look good too.

I dunno I have thought of it myself before but I just cannot imagine it , someone must have done it before. She has very strange taste in cars sometimes she has very good taste and sometimes horrible so its hard to tell.

I have seen black and green look good together but not necessarily on a car. To dark a green and you really cant see it, to light a green and it kind of looks girly.

I agree with what the others have said. It's all in the green. I think it could look awesome with the right color, but would look hideous with the wrong one.

I can't find any pics of my old car, though I've been looking. It was a mystic teal bird with black stripes. It looked pretty good in my opinion. I wanted something that didn't stick out too much, but still added something different to the car.

Those are pretty bright, could be worse, but its your decision. Do what you think looks good and don't let other people's opinions about it get to you. Maybe you could take those pics above and photoshop them until you find a shade that looks good.

I've seen a black TA that runs around my part of town with neon green (much like the Z above) birds on the pillars and rear panel, brake calipers... It doens't look pretty in my opinion. But to everyone their own. Find a shop that makes stickers, have them make you a green sticker of whatever in green (prob cost $5) and then see if that floats you boat.
