It's really kind of annoying. Some of it is funny however; you stick a black panel on the back of the car and it's considered ok. Why is that ok? Well because someone who put it on cars that cost a lot of money said so! If someone who sells expensive modified camaros can do it, it must be acceptable!

i dont think its as simple as you make it sound. leds and halos are somthing i plan to do to my car, but i would never put one of these kits on my car. i admit the term "rice" is thrown around alot, but its used to describe somthing done poorly or in bad taste which i think applys to these body kits. now the berger panel...ive seen some i like and some i dont like. i agree with you that its odd to put a different color pannel on the back of your car, in fact most people outside the f-body community would probobly think it looks really weird, if not really bad. but the thing about the berger panel is it represents the f-body community, as its somthing only true enthusiests would understand, and i think thats what appeals to alot of people. i think we serously need to try and put a list together of dos and donts for these companies producing these kits, because lets face it, they want to make money, and we want to be able to personalize our cars without going overboard in the styling.

The Rice cry is just old and boring. did you whiners see the wild stuff for 3rd gen's coming from New Jersey in the 90's? Just as wild. don't stifle creativity. let people do their thing.

The hockey sticks on some cars look just as bad. Some are nice and stay with the curves and then there are the ugly 90 degree bend ones that are just "60's" man. If someone gets creative and Camaros start getting bought up because they are fast and there is more stuff for them, then your resale value doesn't drop as fast. Maybe someone will start exporting used LS1's and then you'd get even more for it. Quit Belly-aching about rice. If enough demand for REAL cars is created, maybe they will in fact build us a REAL Camaro and Firebird again.

Was the vette in Corvette Summer Rice?....it would be if it came out today according to some of the complainers.

No press is bad press. If someone is making new stuff for Camaros, then someone else will get inspired, maybe even more creative, maybe more conservative, and get off their A$$ and do something about it themselves and build it.
