Water collects in the track around the hatch glass. After I wash the car, I always pop the hatch and lift it about a foot (no higher or the interior gets a bath). The water just gushes down the hatch channels and out the little drain holes next to the taillights. That method totally eliminates the annoying trickles.

Wow.... The problem with this country is everyone has become way to politically correct because everyone is soooo afraid they might offend someone. It's getting to a point where no one can enjoy the holidays anymore. I'm an atheist <however you spell it> and I say merry christmas to everyone and love christmas. You don't have to be religous to celebrate. It's a time to settle down and enjoy the company of your loved ones and friends! So MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!!

P.S. I'm gonna invent something to eradicate water/dust trails left after washing and then driving and become a MILLIONARE!!!!

The funny part is that people that say "You shouldn't be offended by 'Merry Christmas'" are the same people that are saying they're offended by saying
"Happy Holidays." It's a hypocritical debate no matter which side you're on, if two words offend you one way or the other, then get over it because 1, it's just words, and 2, the MEANING behind the words of wishing people happiness with their family and loved ones is what should be taken into consideration. Personally, I'm Atheist. I still celebrate the non-religious side of Christmas. At the same time, I understand where the other religions are coming from -- granted this country was founded by Christians, but we do have a lot of other religions in this country too. I think the Jewish holidays, Muslim holidays, and other religious holidays for other religions should be regarded just as highly as Christian holidays. And that's coming from an Atheist. But, it's definitely pathetic the level of lawsuits being thrown around everywhere. Then you wonder why our health care prices are so jacked up. Everyone suing eachother for stupid crap causes the health insurance companies to shell out more and more money, and in turn jack up the prices on health insurance. Go figure.

Lots of water sticks to the underside of the hatch even after you open it.

I have to wash mine at a self wash car wash most of the time. On the drive back home I just stab the gas once or twice to let the water fly out then dry it again once its parked.

p.s.: I think the holiday season is only a marketing tool now… Most “Christians” don’t even realize the true meaning behind Christmas anymore. And people who think they need to ban the manger scene or sue for hearing the phrase “ Merry Christmas” need to find something better to do with their time. Well there’s my $.02…

if you dont want to believe in Christmas then dont. If i want to celebrate my RELIGIOUS holiday then I will. Im so sick of you ppl of other religions whining about your stupid rights and beliefs. Last time I check we had religious freedom and freedom of speech here. That means if i want to say MERRY CHRISTMAS then I will without having to get sued or listen to people cry about this or that!

OK, i'll be the first to say it. HAPPY FESTIVUS Seriously people, doesn't the world have enough problems as it is? Personally I wouldn't get offended if someone wished me a Happy Hanakah(forgive me if it's spelt wrong) or a Happy Kwanza, thats their religion and beliefs and I respect that, after all I know that their just wishing me a safe and happy holiday season and i'm not gonna fly off the handle and get pissed because I celebrate Christmas and not their religion. Thats what freedom of speech means and people have the right to say what they want. So lets all just get along and have a SAFE AND HAPPY HOLIDAY SEASON WHATEVER YOUR RELIGION MAY BE!!!!
