interior black question

interior black question is there a difference between the 98-00 trans am interiors that are dark gray? is there an actual black? like after 00? like does the camaro have a black interior? not dk gray? and is there anything i can do to make my interior pieces black, and still resemble factory/stock finish...
98-99 F-bodies have the charcoal interior, which is a dark gray. 00-02 have the ebony (black) interior.
People say Ebony is just a really really dark gray, but in my Formula, I just call it black.
