all black center taillight section on a TA ?

how do you get a all black center section on a TA ? i hate the bird and lettering and have seen and heard of some people buffing of something to make them all black , i want mine all black . thanks .

Paint thinner on the bird & letters. vht nightshades or blackout covers on the lights.

start out with some 1500 grit sand paper then move on to some 2000 grit sand paper all wet then buff out all the small scratches....

wet sand it, just make sure to keep it wet to keep the swirls at a minimum and then use plastic polish, took me maybe 20-30 min. i did it while on the car also.
