I'll take one.
I was able to buy the plastic one separate for like $6, but it's worthless IMO. I didn't even install it for fear of breaking that one as well :p
I considered making a fiberglass version using the plastic one as a mold, or filing down a section of aluminum plate... man I'm glad I don't need to take on a project like that now
