experimental slp fixed headlights
Granted they were essentially an appearance and supspension options, but they did put out some damn nice looking cars. The LS1 SS and Firehawk are arguably the best looking f-bodies ever produced. If I had known about the Firehawk back in June of 2000, I would have ordered an '01 Firehawk, but I hadn't even heard of ls1.com till a few weeks after buying my car.
I think it's pretty cool that they are offering some of their 'company' development stuff. If I had a SS or Firehawk, I'd be all over some of the promotional material.

I couldnt agree more. The people who are bashing Dave's auction, obviously don't know who he is and how much he played a part in the SS's and Firehawk. They just look like idiot ***'s for making such comments.
And yeah, I do like the SLP SS's. But that doesn't mean I endorse everything SLP did (or does)...

Exactly what I was thinking! and as far as:
i would have to be smoking something real to even think about paying that amount for headlights. They do look weird im not sure if i like it, but i guess is something different.

This thread was resurrected from the dead and I do believe the pic was added after the fact...but I do apologize to all that it was not noticed sooner...it's gone now.

Yep didn't want to start the S.L.P. bashing.
