Default Exhaust tips for firehawk?

I just recently got TD's put on my hawk. the hawks like mine come with gold tips but my tips were getting worn looking. The paint was pealing off and they started to rust so I painted them black. I tried to order replacement tips from slp but they no longer make them. I may have to get something and then powdercoat them gold but I'm worried about the colors of the rims and stripes matching them. Are there any tips that are already gold in color? I would prefer tips that are either oval or dual like the stock ones. I don't really want to spend a lot of money on them either I've seen some tips for as much as $200 and there is no way I'm paying anthing close to that. Anyone have any ideas because I havn't been able to find much of anything.

Keep an eye out on the parts for sale section or do a search.

I've got a set of dual 3" tips made by megs off of thunder racing and they look absolutely amazing on my SS!
The guy I bought them from off of here sold them to me for $65 shipped. You can check them out on thunderracing.com they would look perfect on a TA! Perfectly cut for your bumper

I've never seen aftermarket gold tips, but they are probably out there somewhere. Your best bet would be looking for some cheap tips, and powdercoating them, or even trying automotive paint, tractor paint, etc. is worth a try. You could always have them coated in real gold as well, and have some real value into them lol.

VHT Flameproof paint is the color recommended by SLP.
Color SP-105 Flat Gold

I've used it to 'spruce up' my tips & it matches very well.

(Plus, I bought an extra set of original equipment tips back when they started clearin' everything out, ...)

I thought they had to make parts available for 10 years after the last car is sold by federal law?

Not an 'aftermarket' supplier I don't believe, ..., GM, Ford, big-boys yea, but I don't think the others do, like SLP, Roush, Saleen, etc., etc.
