help...with the shifter boot in 99 t/a... how the hell do i keep it from sliding back down, ya know? Like it wont stay tight around the shift ****.. is there a self-fix anyone can throw at me???

Do you have the stock shifter? If not get a Lou's short stick, or a WS6store short stick and you wont have that problem anymore. I have a WS6store one and it is great. The boot goes right up to the base of the ****.

and it doesnt slide down??? i had installed the damn pro 50 sdhifter w/ 1" shorter stick... and the oem hurst ****... it keeps sliding down, like ya know? it wont stay up at the top.
