Default suction cups and tint?

Does anyone know for a fact if suction cupping anything to a tinted window damages the tint at all? I have the top 6" of the windshield tinted and I wanted to attach something up in that area, but clearly, I dont want to do it if it's going to have any adverse impact on the tinting. I cant seem to find a clear answer online anywhere else. Anyone had 1st hand experience with this? Thanks!!

I put a suction cup camera mount on my 5% tint on the hatch, took it off and everything was okay. I didn't have a problem at all.

Naw, I got one of those G-tech units for my birthday and wanted to find a convenient place to mount it. Thought I'd post it up by my review mirror.
