SS Hood HELP?????? Sorry I'm sure this gets posted all the time but I couldnt find anything that helped me too much!
I want a 93-97 functional SS hood. Ones on e-bay sell for just under $500 plus shipping and handling, ones on summit go for $600 + shipping. The ones on e-bay say you need to cut the hood for it to be functional, and their gel coated and need to be sanded primed re-sanded and fitted. I'll spend the $600 if you dont have to cut or fit anything. What is the best hood out there? Please help!! Thanks alot guys

i'd personally just spend the time and money getting an OEM SS hood. They sell for about $750 sometimes on ebay. It would be money well spent to get an OEM one rather than paying a bodyman to make your aftermarket one look good. And the quality still won't be as good, trust me.

would even a summit hood have to be fitted? And what exactly does fitted mean? I have a buddy who can paint but I dont know if he is up for any mods to the hood.
