That's gorgeous. You painted some of the bolt tops/oil dipstick top red. What kind of paint?

Wow that is quite bling but is it a pain to work around all those wire things? So is a good way to customize the FRC's jsut to add the trans am side molding over the corvette? Do you think it would look better if i had the corvette filling in, sanded painted with trans am painted on, or just have them custom painted, no filling in and add the molding over them?

Mine were filled and finished before the molding was mounted. Afterthought Auto did them. The corvette lettering is a lot bigger then the side molding and it would look a lot better filled in IMO

The paint is Rustoleum exterior. And as far as working on it it's going to be worse.
That's plumbing for 2 dry stages. It's presently getting a 3rd Direct Port stage.

I'm a fan of NITROUS DIRECT!

Ok well i have a Trans Am and i think the side molding for those would cover the entire corvette. Maybe ill jsut get Trans Am painted, or i dunno. I am going to go with a gloss black and dark red flames on my FRC's, intake, and airbox, think under the flames a painted trans Am would look better, or over the flames the side molding would look better? Or no trans am, just flames?

If you have flames, it would look too busy to add lettering under or over them unless it was included into the flame's paint scheme. That would be pretty cool.

I looked for a while on the filter question and only found K&N (near red when new), Green, white, and some grey ones. S&B air filters are similar to K&N, maybe a little closer to burgundy. They are supposed to be custom made for individual apps and cost roughly $65. I noticed that the volant setup has bright red covers ("prefilters") that would match. That would be the expensive route to go (whole new intake), but it would get your matching red. Good luck.

Yea i dont really want to change out my whole intake, haha. Happen to know if those guys above that make custom ones for $65 could make me a custom red one or black or whatever for a little more?

I dont think i can even change my intake due to the hood. The hood is designed to as my air intake and i've heard its a little better induction than the reg LID route. Maybe theres something ican clean it with to get the brighter red. I just spend about an hour i nthe garage polishing and cleaning some more things up. The lighting in my garage is pretty weird so the polished stuff doesnt show up very well but its shining pretty good. Dusted off my parts and tomorrow am going to work on cleaning up my wheel well areas and probably order up the fuse box covers.
