antena motor done (T/A)...

well... finally my antena motor went out on my 1998 t/a... i was wondering what u all have done... i personally hate how high up it sticks (i know its small but it bothers me) so what have you all done??? any recommondations???
replaced it? buy a non motorized one? if so what kind? (i like a shorty-style), just left it up and broken??? anyone have a suggestion for me

I unplugged my antenna motor...all I listen to is CDs anyway, looks A LOT better riding down the road now

Mine broke in a car wash, forgot to turn the radio off and i was in a hurry, still havent replaced it and its been months and i've spend $4500 on parts since then. (They arent on yet!) But the one i had was my 2nd, i got it from autozone for like $50.

Mine must be missing some teeth on a gear, it goes up like that high^ and then goes "click click click" and stops. Then the reveres for going down. The onlything that doesn't work right on my car that I like
