door panel i just bought a 99 Formula and i just noticed today that on the top of the door panel it is cracked vertically down to where it meets the fabric. its about 4 inches long, its not to bad but i went to a dealer to see how much a replacement door panel would be and they told me 600 bucks for the whole door panel for my car.
i also need the seat belt quide for the driver side seat because my stupid *** broke it. the dealer wants 20 bucks for that, but im pissed about the door panel, does anybody know of any alternatives or ideas on what i should to,

And there is a link that shows how to fix it somewhere in there... or make it less noticeable. Mine has cracked on both sides also
. There is a huge like 500 reply thread about the door panel cracks but the search won't bring it up.

thanks, well i know im not the only one with this prolem (i guess i should have searched). it pisses me off because this happens a weekasfter i get the car and it only has 24k milles on it. i dont know what i should do about it though.
I got my door panel for 1/2 that price... Yeah I paid a lot but I didn't want to just try to hide the problem.
The guide ran me 12 at the local dealer. Check with GM Parts Direct and see what it runs from there. PM me and I'll give you another site which is where I got my new door panel from
