cleaning wheels
cleaning wheels I just installed my o.e. concepts black z06 motorsports and i was wondering what is the best product to keep them clean and keep them glossy. I used eagle one for my polished wheels and i used mothers for my chrome but i have never had a factory painted wheel before. I posted this in the wheel section and got no feedback so i decided to post under this section seeing that it gets looked out more often by more people

Nothing special really, just wash with car wash soap. You can use a paint brush to clean around the lugnuts etc. Occasionally you might want to wax them.

Metal polish on the metal and you can use regular car polish or metal polish on the painted parts. Wax is a VERY good idea. Heat from the brakes can bake on dirt on painted wheels... wax will help prevent that.
I used Metal Armor Paint and Hard Surface Polish, followed by Metal Armor Final Polish and Sealant on my painted C5's , and they looked great, and were a piece of cake to keep clean ..
polished them when I first got them, then never had to touch them again, just rinsed em off and dried them with a microfiber.
