Corsa guys, inside please!! Well, i ordered my corsa premium tips. jus got them in and i am trying to figure out how i should mount them. Apparently since they are "double walled" you can mount them right up to the rear bumper on my camaro and it wont melt. Just wondering if i should mount them with a gap inbetween the tip and bumper or right up to the bumper.. thanks guys

I have mine roughly 3/4" at the closest point to the paint and after about 4k miles I have yet to see any change in the paint. I wouldnt mount them right up against the bumper anyway, its harder to wash the bumper and to me it would look slightly odd. i mounted mine with a little bit of a gap between the tip and the bumper. for two reasons i didnt want to scratch the tips and second i didnt want to damage the bumper by scratching it or burning the paint.

Why would you want them up against your bumper to begin with?
I'd say leave them about a half-inch to 3/4'' away from the bumper. Looks better and you don't have to worry about them rubbing your paint.
