removing front cover
removing front cover hey guys, i just bought a 98 z and the guy that had it pull the front bumper support thing out, i have it and am going to put it back on along with some other stuff but i can't seem to figure out how to pull the front bumper cover off of the car. can anyone tell me how to do this. thanks

There's about five plastic clips under the hood, two in front of each wheel, and another 4-6 under the car at the front. Some are plastic screws I think (it's been a while since I did it).
Pull out the headlights, disconnect the fog lamps from the lenses, and then just go ahead and pull out all the clips/tabs/screws and the front cover will come off. You'll need to jiggle it a little, but it does come off in one piece.
Follow the gaps of the cover and you'll be able to see where it should separate. Just be careful with the clips, they are not exactly a very tough plastic and the edges where you need to slip in a flat blade can bend or break.
I hope you have a grill though, cause otherwise you can see the styrofoam bumper cover through the big holes behind the grill and it looks bad.

so there is no metal screws that hold it on? and the fog lights are one reason i am pulling it off because i don't have any because they were pulled off. pretty much the guy that had it did some weight reduction to the car so they pulled alot of that stuff off of the car like the styrofoam out of the bumper, even the grill.
