Using Catz SR series lights roughly 5.5" diamater and under 3" thick. I used Gold irridum driving lights picked up on ebay for $45 (reg price is over $150). Ohh and there are 3 beam choices and several bulb and lense color choices. gold iridium bulbs, HID style bulbs, yellow lenses, fog, driving or spot lights.. blah... blah.. I had to make a custom bent bracket for each light and did trim a little of the styrefoam(sp?) and a corner of the bumper cover that was against the light. With the bit of triming there was a 1/4" or so gap around the entire light. Its a tight fit though!
First pic with No grille
Next with the grille in place
Third lights on with the grille

just figured I'd share since I've not seen any camaros with a large diamater fog light setup and I was told it could not be done because there was not enough space for anyhitng other than small lights. I'll get some pics tonight with the lights on.

wow, i really love that look with the big round lights in the grill! here is my simple grill. !stock-crappy-plastic-insert and put in some gutter mesh that I painted white. i used paper clips that I cut and bent into U-shape and stuck into the styrofoam backing so the mesh doesn't move.
Sorry to ask so many questions, I'm just now starting into modifying my car to my tastes. Hey, what are these boards for anyway??
My question is, if I wanted a "SS" badge for the stull grille, is the 1969 Camaro RS/SS the correct badge? Also, I wanted to make a smooth Berger panel and also install an old SS badge on that as well. Any ideas what badge to use there? It can't be flat.
Thanks again!

Just wanted to point out that you guys are using the RS/SS emblem, the SS emblem for a non RS optioned car will have a more pronounced V to it due to the different grill. So for you guys that are looking into doing a billet grill with the SS emblem be sure to get one for an RS optioned car.

Very unique.
