Default Whistler mod ?'s

Just wondering if people are painting the ribbed part of the headlight? And what kind of paint should I use? Also, how are they holding up?.....

i painted mine.. i used semi-gloss paint... make sure you scuff up any painted area with sand paper.. otherwise the paint will not stick and it will peel off.. i used about 3 coats when i did mine

Take your time, thats for sure. Scuff the ripp part and paint it too. It will look alot better.

I used about 3 or 4 coats of semi gloss paint as well.

I used satin black high temp paint. My problem is I was a little impatient and when I pryed it apart the housing cracked. It still looked fine for a good year or so but the crack caused the foil inside the light to start flaking off. In the end I just ditched them and got some halos. The key obviously is to be patient.
