Default Ding in door???

Someone told me that these doors are fiberglass? I was looking at an SS and the guy said there's a tiny ding in the door. How's that possible?

Ding=paint chip to him obviously. Doesn't have to be "dented" to be "dinged" if that makes any sense at all
