Claybar??? Too much soapy fluid?

Claybar??? Too much soapy fluid? I used miguires claybar on my car for the very first time, cause my bumper has what looks like tiny rust spots all over it. I used the bar and I felt and heard the "sanding" but when i didn't feel it any more the spots were still there and the bumper is very smooth (no sound coming from bar at all when rubbed on it). Now I used a lot of the suppied liquid, did i use too much?? That was also the only place on my car where i felt and hear the "sanding".Any one have any ideas on how else I can get these spots off, or do you think they're under the clear coat?
really need to see a close up of one of the spots your talkin about... sounds like your clearcoat would be breaking down.... does it looks brown? or just dull spots? if its dull spots its the clear coat... if its brown... no clue bro...
Feel your pain, bro. Just waxed my White 01 and had the same damn spots on the rear under the PONTIAC. No clue what they are. I sure as hell couldnt get them off with anything.
