Default Confused about white face gauges

Just got my Macewen gauges in the mail and im a little confused as to how to get to the existing gauges in the car. The instructions in the box suck for one thing. It mentions some tabs that need to be depressed to get the lens out, but i dont see any tabs at all. Any one help with this? Thanks

Justin

Did you get the new lens with the gauges? If not there are a few black push tabs you have have to push in, then pull the lens out. You hav to take out the whole cluster first.

Assuming your 01 is similar to my 02, take the bezel (trim surrounding the guages) off and there are 4 bolts that hold the cluster in, remove them, and remove the cluster, you shoud now see what tabs they are talking about, remove the clear plastic lens, and install your gauge faces, assembly is the reverse of the removal

1. Helps also if you remove the rear trunk release..it just pops out
2. The plastic sheeting piece it was attached to
3. Then undo the two bolts that hold the steering wheel shaft up.
4. Then with the steering weal outta the way..do the above and pull the cluster straight out
