ipod holders...
ipod holders... I know someone has brought this up, but i'm trying to figure out a good place on where to stick my ipod. pics or ideas on where to mount it? i really dont want to buy that funny looking clip that clips to the vent

I saw a car that ran a wire through the storage compartment just to the left of the cigarette lighter. The Ipod fits inside that nicely. He also bought a unit off of Cardomain that allows you to use your stock stereo to run the ipod. It looked pimp. Look on CarDomain in the catalog.
I ran mine into the ashtray, and either clip it onto the ashtray lid, clip it on the ebrake, or lay it flat inbetween my leg and the console. I do the third option the most, its stays perfect even under hard accel..

I'm using this guy:
It fits perfectly in the spot to the right of the head-unit/in front of the glove box.
It works great and is in a great position (easy to see and easy to scroll on the go), however, the only problem I've encountered is that the surface I mentioned isn't perfectly flat, so the adhesive mount started peeling off (My fault, though).

if u have an alpine head unit u can buy their interface and when you plug in ur ipod it charges and can be put away in the center console. I control everything from the head unit and can search with all the same features and do everything with my stereo no ipod in hand
