As far a painting, I got some purple 3M scuff pads and scuffed it all up so the paint would have something to hold on to. After that, put a little tape over where the plug boot slides and went to town doing a little at a time. The paint was really thick and runny so you have to be carefull not to get runs.
After it was all dried, I just used some Krylon triple glaze clearcoat.... its not anywhere near the quality of automotive clearcoat but it served the purpose. Definately would not advise using it for anything on the exterior that you really want to match the car's coat.
Sorry to get off topic but I noticed you have aftermarket fuel rails. I'm getting ready to put on my Speed Inc. rails and have all the hardware and fitting including the Russell hardline fitting. Could you shoot me a pic or describe where you hooked that fitting up? Also, any advice on install would be helpful. You can PM or email me.

On the coil packs? If so, I just got some 5oz touch up spray paint cans from GM.
