gutting interior

im in the process of removing weight for the upcoming race season...carpet is staying out...air bags will be removed...i am curious to know of anyone who took away the center consol...im leary of doing so because im thinking it would be uncomfortable to drive...any one ride without it?

this is how it looks at the moment-notice the homade shifter

ummm does it really matter how comfortable it is? if its a track car, i assume it is, it doesnt really matter.

If you're rolling without carpet, I don't see the problem with losing the center console either.

so lets all rip out our stock seats and use milk crates for seats and just get a length of cow bell rope to throw across us ..
