I bought and extra control to cut up to mount a Bass Control in the same spot but the piece behind the panel (attached to the panel) for the defroster is so HUGE.

Well its a switch to turn the inline fuel pump on and off when I don't need it. I honestly don't remember how tough it was to mount, although I think I just trimmed some of the clear acrylic that is behind that area for it to fit. I can't remember what is exactly in the way back there, but I'm pretty sure I trimmed something with a dremel and cut-off wheel.
