Default removing inserts for berger mod?

I have chrome inserts installed right now and i'm thinking about doing the berger mod. My question is what is the best way if any to remove and re-use the inserts? Heating with a hair dryer...ect.?

get a cheap heat gun from Autozone or Checker.. they are only like 20$..

i filled in my "CAMARO" for the berger panel with body filler.. and then used a 1969 rear Z28 emblem to go in the middle..

You have a black car, you don't need a berger mod.

Berger panels on black and nbm cars always kind of confused me. They just look like the panel was primed and never painted to match the rest of the car. It doesn't have the contrast other colors do that makes it obvious that it's done purposely.

i think it looks amazing on NBM cars, not so much on black

and always always always use MATTE black not FLAT. my .02 is that you go buy another rear pannel, and set yours to the side in case you want to go back to blue later, its what i did

I want to do this as well, but want to keep my original panel. Where can you buy an extra one?

just buy a extra panel and have your stock panel just incase you dont like it or something like that. I know a place that sells flat black rear panels but they arent as cheap as if you got one at a junk yard or board member, if you want more info just pm me.
