ss hood

would putting the ram air ss hood on my z give a boost in hp? if so how much?

its a gimmick magilicutty it not real. IMO they needed a reason of makeig the same exact motor have 3 different HP for 3 diff cars. ie

camaro z28 305 hp
camaro ss 325hp
Vette 350hp all the same motor its all a joke IMO

but the SS looks kick ***

It can work but like said above, you will onlt gain maybe 2 HP in all from it. But the ram air doesnt actually start to work until you are doing about 60.

You are better off getting a lid and the lower ram air, it will draw more and you would get better numbers, in fact I am leaving mine this way when my ss hood goes on, but still got some glassing to do.
