Default Installing Inserts?

I just got my rear "camaro" inserts from fourth circle designs, they are the chrome version and I was wondering what was the best way to install them, I know some people say get a little soapy water so they will slide around untill you get them in the right spot, but I also heard you are not suposed to do that with the chrome ones, any ideas would be great, I just don't wanna mess this up, lol.

First take either some alcohol swabs or some wax/grease remover
and wipe out the indentations. Then spray a little, very little soapy water mix into each indentation just before you're ready to apply the letter. It doesn't matter if it's chrome or not. It may make the letters a little streaky but simply wipe them off when finished.
